The cottage
Our cottage is located on the serene west coast of Lewis, in the tranquil village of Brue. We're situated within 20min from Stornoway and less than 45min from all mayor places of interest.
From the cottage you can enjoy breathtaking views of Loch Barvas and the Atlantic Ocean. Conveniently situated, we provide the perfect base for exploring the most fascinating spots on Lewis and even venturing into Harris.
Location​
Lewis is a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering endless opportunities for adventure and exploration. Imagine strolling along pristine, deserted beaches, cycling on scenic coastal roads, or catching the perfect wave with surfing right at our doorstep. The island also boasts excellent fishing spots and calm waters ideal for kayaking. With so many activities to enjoy, from land to sea, one week simply isn’t enough to experience it all.

Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Perfect to relax in and watch the loch and sea and equally appealing to come back to after a busy day exploring the islands. Conveniently located for easy access to everything: Stornaway, the many historic sites on the West Coast of Lewis, up to Ness, across to Great Bernera and Uig and down to North Harris.
